Early registration, which provides you with a lower registration cost (see below) ends on March 11, 2014. Registrations can be cancelled for CDN $50 until March 11, 2014.
The deadline for registration is March 24, 2014.
The registration fee covers:
- Attendance at all sessions and workshop/tutorials;
- Three lunches;
- Coffee/refreshments during breaks and poster sessions.

Abstract Submission (Poster or Talks only)
The Seventh International Biocuration Conference is a unique event for curators and developers of biological databases to discuss their work, promote collaborations, and foster a sense of community. To this end the organizers invite you to submit your work for inclusion in the meeting. A subset of poster abstracts will be selected for platform presentation during the conference.

Once logged in, you will be directed to a page with menu tabs on the top. To start the submission process, please click on the 'Submission' tab, which will take you to the submission form. Please follow the guidelines on the submission form. The title and the abstract should be entered in plain text and should not contain HTML elements. The abstract should be written in an unstructured format. Separate sections for Background, Materials and Methods, etc., are not needed. Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.
To characterize your submission, authors should type in keywords (one per line), and select one relevant topic session.
In the 'Upload Paper' section at the bottom of the submission form, please tick the box 'Abstract Only'.
When the form is adequately filled out, please press the 'Submit' button, which appears at the end of the submission form. You will receive an email from the conference “EasyChair” stating that your submission was successful. This email is solely a notification that EasyChair for ISB2014 has received the abstract.
Abstract Submission Deadlines
- Abstract submission deadline (poster or oral presentation): February 10, 2014;
- Notification of decision for abstract submission: February 24, 2014.
For poster presentations, please be advised that your poster dimensions should be formatted to fit within the poster board space of 121 cm (48 inches) in width and 121 cm (48 inches) in height. Formatting your poster to fit these dimensions will ensure that adequate space will be provided for your poster and those of other attendees. Pins will be provided.
